This is a very unique single malt coming out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The malts used for this whiskey, were Mesquite-smoked first. Giving it a very different kind of smokiness, very different to typical peated whiskies.
Minty on the nose, then that interesting Mesquite smoke, BBQ meat. Palate is meaty, you get some charred meat, charcoal, dark chocolate, mint, walnut and Cayenne pepper.
