This is a blended whisky created by Ichiro Akuto of Chichibu Distillery. The blend consists of whiskies from around the world i.e. America, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and Japan. This was a bottling that was done to support the bar industry in Japan during Covid-19.
Tasting notes:
Bright nose. Zesty and fresh. Sweet grain whisky character and a touch of smoke probably from the Scotch whisky.
Palate has some nice stewed orchard fruits. Green apples and vanilla. A nice lick of peat. Medium rich. Very balanced with a dry finish.
