This Springbank 25yo was released in February 2020 and consists of 50% bourbon casks and 50% sherry casks. 1200 bottles released worldwide.
Tasting note:
Bright and zesty. Has all the Springbank goodness that we love. Lemon zest, oyster shells, flinty and with puffs of smoke. Palate is salty, oyster brine, yellow fruits, minerals and some red dates. A touch linear, but is just a classy example of a long aged Springbank.
