Every year Sullivan’s Cove does an extremely limited run of bottles for the Dark Mofo Tasmania festival, available exclusively at the Winter Feast food festival stand. Known in house as "the Witches Brew", this is a chance for our best blending palates to have fun and go a bit crazy, using the full depth and breadth of the liquid we have in the warehouse to create a truly unique single malt whisky
1) Winter Feast 2017, 80 Bottles, 47.1% ABV (Current market price $1800-$2500)
WWA 2018 Gold Medal
In 2017, Sullivan’s Cove produced 80 bottles, a combination of 10 and 16 year old American Oak ex-bourbon casks, and a 16 year old French Oak ex-apera (sherry) cask, with a bottle of award winning French Oak HH0419 thrown in for good measure. This bottle is extremely rare these days, and goes for up to $2500 on some websites.
2) Winter Feast 2019 Edition, 87 bottles, 49.8% ABV
This is produced from a combination of small amounts from over 200 different casks ranging from 8 to 21 years old and from various cask styles and sizes.
3) Winter Feast 2020 Edition, 79 Bottles, 50.2% ABV
Originally bottled to be released for Dark Mofo Tasmania 2020, but obviously due to the Covid-19, the event has now been cancelled, and this product is un-released.
4) Sullivan’s Cove Single Cask TD199 American Oak Tawny Cask, 47.5% (Retails $450)
This was released as part of the Cask Variations series. American Oak Tawny Single Cask TD0199 was aged for twelve years in an American oak cask previously used to mature Australian tawny, lending this whisky the fresh caramel and vanilla notes associated with American white oak, combined with the rich dried fruit flavours of port-style fortified wine
5) Sullivan’s Cove Single Cask TD0082 American Oak Refill , 13yo, 47.2% (Original Retail $400)
American Oak Refill Single Cask TD0082 was distilled in February of 2006 and decanted in August of last year for a maturation of thirteen years in a single, 300L American oak cask previously filled with an older batch of Sullivan’s Cove Single Malt Whisky. Bottled at 47.2% ABV, this cask is one two being made available simultaneously as part of the first ever American Oak Refill release under our Cask Variations series.

Tasting will be done via Zoom When: Sunday, 7th of June 2020 Time: 3pm - 4.30pm Price: $92 per person (for 5 x 15ml samples) There is a delivery fee of $8 when you checkout. We are aiming to have the samples ready for collection on Friday (the 29th of May).
For Melbourne customers who can pickup from the bar, please click on "Pick up" when checking out. * Interstate customers are more than welcome to join too, but there is a risk of the samples not arriving in time, because of the current delivery times. The postal service we are using currently has a turnaround time of 5 days.
