This is an independent bottling done by Peter Golotta in South Australia. A construction project manager by trade, he is also a novice photographer and a volunteer guide at his local zoological park in his spare time. Peter is passionate about animal conservation and also whisky, which is what led him to start this bottling project. Parts of the profit from the bottle sales goes to animal conservation.
This is his second release. The whisky is from Fleurieu Distillery (also in South Australia), matured in an Apera cask #28 yielding 123 bottles, and bottled at the preferred strength of 50.45%.
Tasting note:
Bright and zesty, a bit of ginger, orange zest. Sweet, nice and malty with some biscuity notes. Toffee, raisins and creme brulee.
