This is a Bruichladdich Single Cask for Australia under the Micro Provenance Series. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2019, making it 10yo. Distilled from Appaloosa Barley and matured in a Syrah Cask #1604, and bottled at cask strength of 62.7%
On the nose, cherries, blackforest, unbaked chocolate chip cookie dough, spices and ginger. Palate has great balance, red berries and spices, juicy, medium chewy, touch funky and then the tannins kick in, finishing dry.
