This is the very first release of Ardnamurchan's single malt - Batch 1.
Using peated and unpeated malts for the production, most of the barley came from West of Fife. A variety of types and sizes of casks were used too.
Tasting note:
On the nose, you get preserved lemons, oyster shells, brine and seabreeze. Very Campbeltown-like. Quite a savoury palate. There is a touch of peat on the top note followed by stewed lemons. Very balanced and easy drinking.
