A single cask BenRiach bottled by Malaysian bottler, Eiling Lim in collaboration with Shinanoya, Japan. This BenRiach has been matured for 19 years in a single refill sherry cask before being bottled at 55%.
Tasting note:
Touch of gun powder and matchsticks to start. As it opens, stewed fruits, chocolate and red fruits and plum appear. Palate has plenty of stewed fruits, grapefruit peel, plums, raisins, raspberry cordial, red cherry lolly. Syrupy and long.
