This is the latest arrival in Australia from the Glengyle Distillery and is also the oldest expression to date. It consists of 98% bourbon casks and 2% Madeira casks.
Tasting note:
Lemon citrus, oyster shells, minerals, bright and zesty. Palate is slightly funky (perhaps the influence from the Madeira). Quite gentle, with some soft minerals, medium sweetness, preserved lemons, barley sugar, and a touch of woodfire. It has some beautiful Campbeltown coastal funk. Delicious!
