This Irish single malt starts off in bourbon casks and is then finished in Camus Cognac casks. The casks are also exposed to the salty sea breeze of Lambay Island, maybe influencing the final flavours a little?
Tasting notes:
A very nice and bright nose. Peaches, grassy, citrus, hints of spice and vanilla. Not overly complex but very drinkable! Well balanced, fruity, grassy, hints of honey, clove and marmalade. Delicious!
