This is a single malt from the Beast of Dufftown, Mortlach. Matured in 2 first fill bourbon barrels #800082 & #800083 for 11 years before being bottled at cask strength of 57.6%
Tasting note:
Nose: Lollies, lemon citrus, pencil shavings, very fresh and bright
Palate: Fresh, funky stewed fruits, creamy vanilla, orange lollies, blossoms, honey, chewy, medium weight, medium sweetness, long finish. With water, much better balance, syrupy, vanilla, stewed fruits, musk melons and honey
