This Springbank 21 year old was released in September 2020. The components were aged 30% in Bourbon, 30% Rum, 25% Sherry and 15% Port casks.
Tasting note:
Heavily on the cask influence as can be seen from the colour of the whisky. Stewed fruits, dark fruits, cherries, and flinty. There is still that coastal character at the back. Palate is rich with lots of stewed dark fruits, dark chocolate, raisins.
