This is a bottling that was done for Harry's Takaoka Bar in Japan. The whisky is a Linkwood single malt that was matured in a single bourbon hogshead #5282 for 27 years, and bottled at natural cask strength of 46.9%.
Clean and bright nose. Bit grassy and fresh, stewed orchard fruits, red apples. Palate is like an oaky chardonnay, a tiny bit of bitterness towards the back palate, some fresh husk flavour, malty. Once it opens up, more orchard fruits appear with medium sweetness.
