This is an undisclosed Islay single malt that has been matured in a single sherry butt for 21 years and bottled at cask strength of 50.6%.
Some believe it might be a somewhat unpeated Laphroaig, but for us, it has hints of Bunnahabhain character too.
Tasting note:
Nose: toasty to start, rich sherry notes, jammy
Palate: sweet with the lightest hint of peat, grapefruit peel, syrupy and jammy.
